About Us
Along The Racing Line
Along the Racing Line was founded in 2021 with the focus of talking about the important news the fans want to talk about.
We Take a Great Amount of Pride in What We Do
Motorsports is a changing industry and we want to keep our readers updated on every aspect, from the daily updates to the news not often talked about. We try to highlight the areas we see as lacking in today’s motorsports news streams.
Our History
Run by fans, we were inspired to highlight the deficiencies we see in the motorsports news industry. We want to give our platforms to those who have true passions for the sport, in the process allowing them to build up their expertise in the industry. Throughout it all, we want to focus on adding an element of diversity and bringing new life to the typical news.
While our focus for this publication is to educate the public on ALL motorsports topics, our overall goal is to help young fans gain the experience they need to one day work in a field they’re passionate about! With a little support and guidance, we give them the opportunity to market themselves as the strong candidates we see them as.
Why We Do What We Do
Seeing a gap for the news we wanted to read from people that were truly passionate, the ATRL founders decided to create our own channel. We strive to bring up issues we see within the motorsports industry, regardless of financial backing. Motorsports are our passion and to be able to have a platform to talk about it is only a dream come true.
“It’s a dream of mine to be able to share my knowledge of motorsport with people as dedicated as me and I can’t wait to continue this work.” -Kristina Agresta, ATRL Editor-In-Chief
Our Team
Naina Gupta, Founder & Director of Operations
Naina graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with degrees in Global Studies and Geographic Information Science as well as a minor in Spanish. She keeps our website running (despite having no formal training in website design!) and runs our Social Media accounts. While she also works full time, she enjoys watching FC Barcelona, F1, and NHL and runs a home bakery business in her free time.
Leonie Deckert, Brand Manager
Leonie is currently studying international management at an international university and plans to focus on marketing and communications. In lockdown, Leonie discovered a talent for digital art and has been creating motorsport-inspired artwork ever since. Her art is featured heavily throughout this site. She helps run the social media accounts and is in charge of creating digital content. When she’s not discussing the latest motorsports news, she is drawing, watching football, or traveling around Europe.
Immy Cousins, Director of Digital Engagement
Immy is ATRL’s Digital Engagement Director as well as a contributing Writer. As Digital Engagement Director, Immy oversees our social media output, working with the staff on new graphics and content ideas. Immy is a long time fan of motorsports having grown up watching it with her family. Being in isolation at University in late 2020 allowed her to really grow a love for it. She is currently studying BA Sociology at University and will continue her studies to complete her PGCE. Immy has a particular interest in the media side of motorsports which led her to creating F1/Motorsport themed TikToks in her spare time. She enjoys writing both about F1 and F2 as well as the diversity in the sport. You can find her on Twitter @immy_cousins.
